The Boys and Girls Club of North Central Massachusetts welcomes all children and teenagers between the ages of 8 and 18. The programs are available to anyone from any class, race, or socio-economic background. BGC NCMA believes that every child should have the opportunity to grow and learn.
The club runs on donations, gifts, and fundraising events. Most of the expenses totaling up to about 1 million dollars a year, is covered by funds raised by the club’s fundraising committee. Some of these events are markets or expos where the club members get to show what they have learned or created. The proceeds go to maintenance or even to the child’s home if they are in need.
To join the Boys and Girls Club of North Central Massachusetts, simply send an email to email@example.com with the following details:
- Child’s name, surname, address, age, and current grade
- Motivation for application
- A brief history of your child’s school and other activities
- Your child’s main interests
- Information about any disabilities, learning delays, behavioral problems, etc.
No applicants will be shown away, but some background information is needed to ensure the safety of other members and also to make sure that the club can accommodate your child. The club has a wonderful and highly trained staff. All staff has first aid training. The staff consists of about 20 volunteers that include qualified teachers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and college students.
You will not regret the decision to send your child or teen to BCG NCMA. They will grow, expand their minds, gain confidence, make friends, and develop their potential like you cannot imagine. All the children who have been members of this club have grown up to be fully functioning, confident, successful adults who also get involved with charities and other volunteer work. Some even come back to volunteer at the club.
